I'm Gen X and I remember Challenger. In fact, I saw it on the launchpad live in Florida about a month before it blew up. I didn't want to jinx the takeoff and watch it blow up.

We were watching mythbusters and paused to watch the launch. 🤘🤘

I couldn't watch live. I looked at my kid and said, "You know I have trauma. Let me know when they're past the worst danger?" He did.

I cry for every nasa launch I watch… the power of those engines just blow me away! There needs to be a nasa rocket launch simulator if there isn’t already one—i would love to feel that! To feel what traveling 15,000mph feels like too!
