You become substantially hotter when you genuinely start to like yourself and enjoy your own company. I can’t emphasize this enough.

Our system of checks and balances had a fatal flaw: it assumed a baseline level of intrgrity and ethics from elected officials who respected the system of government we built.
When the entire system is instead infested with criminals whose sole purpose was to exploit the system itself for their own greed and avarice, they just say “nah” and court orders become mere suggestions.
I really hope I’m alive to see the systemic changes that we need, but I fear it won’t happen in my lifetime.

Beyonce: "Got me hoping you'll page me right now."
My kid: "What does 'page me' mean?"
Me: *old person sigh*
It’s now unmistakable: Donald Trump has declined in alarming ways. His vocabulary has withered. His cadence has slowed. His speech is often slurred. Nothing in his recent public appearances suggests he’s operating with the clarity or capacity expected of a president. The only question is whether anyone around him has the courage to confront what’s happening.
