Can we talk about how most combo cold medicines are kinda…useless? Products like DayQuil or Tylenol cold usually contain four ingredients: acetaminophen which is, ya know, just Tylenol which does reduce fever and pain. Then there’s guaifenesin (expectorant) and Dextromethorphan (a cough suppressant) which are fine on their own but do OPPOSITE THINGS so ????. And the worst is Phenylephrine which does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.
I have a cold and I find this all annoying.
