Hate to point out the obvious but the ideological extremists running a parallel state inside of Iran have not defeated the Persian people are were likely to have been absorbed into the regular military had the US not invaded meaning that no one has ever successfully conquered and absorbed that area in the history of humans. Not sure why he thinks he's going to outdo the greatest military mind in history, Alexander the Great but here we are.
