Halfway through HOS and I have many thoughts .
1. First 2 episodes were too focused on breaking the fourth wall and felt insufferable to me. I didn’t want to watch more because it was trying so hard.

For Ann Patchett lovers, does she get any better than Whistler? I think that book was pretty much perfect but I’ve only read Tom Lake and Dutch House (both 5/5). Is Whistler her best or what should my next Ann book be???
