I am really struggling with Rocky’s stay.
This is the longest we’ve ever had a foster, and I think the reason I find it so difficult is that he doesn’t NEED me. He needs a home to recover it, and that’s it. He doesn’t need any of my special training or skills and, while I’m happy he’s safe and getting the care he needs, I can’t help but to feel frustrated and disappointed that such a coveted spot is being held up for months on end by a dog who just needs *somewhere* to be.
