I’m having a moment.
I moved up to Maine in July 2023. I was needing space from my whole existence in PA and a heartbreak that ripped a hole in my ability to be rational.
I lived for almost two years in a small town where I knew no one. I worked from home which kept me isolated. I went to ACA meetings as a way to build some kind of connection foundation. It was slow as hell to make a single friend. One person got me involved in some local theater. I tried local poetry readings. I took pottery.
