My 3 yo asked me for some more “fake mingos”. I explained that the dried mangos he has been eating are real mangos, they’ve just been dried so all the juice is gone. “Nooooo! Real mingos are pink and inside water.” I explained that mangos are fruit that start off kinda green on the outside but do turn pinkish orange. “No! They pink and sometimes they fly.” And this is how I realized my 3yo thought the dried mangos he’s been eating are flamingo jerky.
