My girlfriend started taking ridiculously long showers whenever she stayed at my place. Not every time, but especially on days when she came over straight from work. She’d go into the bathroom and sometimes stay in there for almost 40 minutes. One day I jokingly asked if she was trying to wash away an entire lifetime in there. She laughed and said, “I’m not actually running the shower that whole time.” That confused me even more.
